Title: VP Operations US (Confidential Search)
Overview:
Lead operational strategy and execution to achieve excellence in Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. Drive production efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executives to develop long-term strategies and policies.
- Manage capital projects and budgets, ensuring profitability.
- Prioritize health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Enhance operational efficiency through process optimization and lean manufacturing.
- Lead and develop the Engineering Team to maintain facility integrity.
- Manage direct reports, providing guidance and resources for goal achievement.
- Oversee third-party transportation providers to support business operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in operations or management.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing operations.
- Protein (beef or poultry or pork) manufacturing exerience Required
- Multi-plant leadership experience experience is required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and industry reporting systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive change.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
