Property Accountant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for a Staff Property Accountant located in Houston TX.Our client is a real estate services/construction development company and is looking to fill this position as soon as possible. The Staff Property Accountant candidate will need to have 1 or more years of Property Accounting experience as well as a Bachelor s in Accounting. The position will be responsible for General Accounting and AR/AP. Some job duties include:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages
- Accrual and cash journal entries
- Make daily deposits, calculate, and bill annual recoveries
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Interact and communicate with property managers
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of one year of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting
- Recent retail and/or multifamily accounting experience
Skills:
- Must be proficient in MS Excel
- Applicable experience in Yardi or MRI
