The Inventory Specialist performs Inventory validation activities at the Arhaus Dallas DC.Additional responsibilities and expectations are outlined within this document.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Inventory Oversight:
- Perform inventory functions daily within the warehouse
- Oversight over inventory receipt and movement; work through any discrepancies with Ryder and Arhaus teams
- Oversight over cycle count processes and procedures; work through any discrepancies with Ryder and Arhaus teams
- Review and research inventory transactions in Ryder and Storis systems
- Ensure inventory controls are being completed, documented, and reviewed
- Participate in research efforts related to inventory reconciliations and other month-end close activities
- Serve as the main point of contact for the Inventory Management team on the ground in the Dallas DC.
- Partner closely with/ Ryder team members and leadership
- As needed, research and resolve inventory discrepancies
Requirements:- Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred
- Years of experience: 1 year of inventory experience preferably in a warehouse receiving environment
- Valid Driver's license preferred
- Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and WMS experience preferred
- Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including receiving, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.
- Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary
- Performing tasks using a computer and telephone daily
- Repetitive processing steps
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information
- Always willing to adapt to change and keep an open mind to training
- Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job
