Description:

The Inventory Specialist performs Inventory validation activities at the Arhaus Dallas DC.Additional responsibilities and expectations are outlined within this document.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Inventory Oversight:

  • Perform inventory functions daily within the warehouse
  • Oversight over inventory receipt and movement; work through any discrepancies with Ryder and Arhaus teams
  • Oversight over cycle count processes and procedures; work through any discrepancies with Ryder and Arhaus teams
  • Review and research inventory transactions in Ryder and Storis systems
  • Ensure inventory controls are being completed, documented, and reviewed
  • Participate in research efforts related to inventory reconciliations and other month-end close activities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Inventory Management team on the ground in the Dallas DC.
  • Partner closely with/ Ryder team members and leadership
  • As needed, research and resolve inventory discrepancies
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred
  • Years of experience: 1 year of inventory experience preferably in a warehouse receiving environment
  • Valid Driver's license preferred
  • Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and WMS experience preferred
  • Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including receiving, picking, and shipping processes and procedures.
  • Dedicated to business and allow flexibility with work hours if necessary
  • Performing tasks using a computer and telephone daily
  • Repetitive processing steps
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Always willing to adapt to change and keep an open mind to training
  • Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job
