A Mill/Lathe Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining lathes to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate manual and CNC lathes to machine parts according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and monitor machine tools and equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for the job.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Minimum of 1 year experience.
Preferred Qualifications - Technical Degree.
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
