Currently I have an opening for a Lab Technician located in Worthington, MN. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- The primary purpose of this position is to perform routine basic laboratory procedures with minimal guidance for the testing of veterinary biologicals according to strict government and company-imposed guidelines.
- Responsible for preparation/sterilization/maintenance of media/solutions/glassware/equipment.
- Responsible for receipt/coordination/distribution of incoming lab testing materials including all test samples.
- Perform routine quality control procedures including environmental monitoring observations.
- In addition, a basic understanding of the material being evaluated (virus, bacteria, cell line).
- Prepare and qualify test reagents/supplies/solutions/media
Technical Information: - Onsite, M-F, 7:30am - 4pm
- 1- year contract with the potential for extension or conversion to permanent
- Pay: $20 hourly
- $500 bonus at 2 weeks and $500 bonus at 90 days of employment!!
