As a Process Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands. The Injection Production Technician operates and maintains production equipment, making adjustments and minor repairs in a safe and efficient manner.We Offer :Set Schedules: 12-hour shifts & a rotating 2-week standard schedule of 3 days, then 4 days is 15 working days a month as a full-time associate!Stability & Growth: We follow a strong promote-from-within business practice and offer a stable job through current market uncertainty!Stability: Our business is prosperous and we're not laying off - we're hiring!Peace of Mind: We ve been in the community for several years & offer job stability through market uncertaintyAdvancement: We prioritize promotion from within!As a Production Technician You Will:Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containersTroubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenanceAssure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensionsJoin with your team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reductionAs a Injection Technician You Will:Perform all quality checks on product observing it for contamination, air bubbles, short shot, flash, gate defects, water lines, color specifications, clarity and notifies Team Leader when discovered.Operate, maintains, and troubleshoots injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment.Makes periodic checks of machine conditions, resin levels, air and water systems. Responsible for the completion of all required training and technical criteria within a defined time period.You HaveAbility to work the following schedule: 6:45 pm - 7:15 am on a cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat.
