Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping Associate/Packer- Day Shift. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The rate for this position is $20.44 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. In this function, you will:
Load flatbed trucks.
Picking/Pulling orders.
Packing orders.
Verifying for correct parts, quantities, and finish.
Checking stock.
Replenishing inventory as needed.
Stock checks.
Loading LTL trucks.
Able to use RF scanners accurately and efficiently.
Cutting wood as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
Must be able to work overtime with short notice.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Previous packing and/or forklift experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-duty military member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three (3) or more years of previous shipping/packing experience.

Fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

Physical Demands:
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shifts.
Able to regularly lift 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment including but not limited to steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, etc. as may be required by company policy and procedure.
Exposure to cold and heat according to weather conditions when shipping doors are open.
