Responsible for cleaning all Lubbock County Facilities. Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment/machinery. High School graduate or equivalent along with one year of experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must maintain a valid Texas Driver's License as well as pass an extensive background check and physical. Essential Duties Cleans interior of all downtown county facilities. Cleaning and polishing light fixtures, marble surfaces, trim, walls, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusting furniture and equipment; and polishing metalwork. Washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, panels, and sills. Empty and clean wastebaskets. Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
