The Company

Our client is a local clinical research company in Tucson that specializes in Phase II-IV Sleep, Dermatology, and Pulmonology trials. Their goal is to serve the Tucson community and they are dedicated to providing the utmost quality care for their patients. They are looking to bring on a Clinical Research Nurse Practitioner (Sub-Investigator) to their team!


The Role

The Sub Investigator is responsible for working with the lead physician (principal Investigator) on the oversight and execution of clinical trials that test new medications on the behalf of sponsor/pharmaceutical companies! You will work in a clinic to promote Good Clinical Practice and follow research protocols assigned. This includes things like medical management of patients on trial, administering medications, documentation, tracking and management of adverse events, and overall management of the study. You will have a team of skilled coordinators and assistants as well!


  • Collaborating with the principal investigator to ensure the successful conduct of clinical trials
  • Monitoring study participants and ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Recording accurate and complete study data and maintaining study documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Communicating effectively with study participants, the sponsor, and the research team
  • Providing support to the principal investigator with study-related activities
  • Reviewing and maintaining study-related records, such as case report forms (CRFs)
  • Participating in the resolution of study-related issues or adverse events
  • Attending study-related meetings, training, and workshops
  • Staying current with industry developments and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • At least 2 years experience working as a nurse practitioner
  • Ability to dedicate a full time schedule, on-site in Tucson, AZ
