In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a world-class organization that is committed to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.Responsibilities:Determine procurement strategies and develop sourcing plans for plastics categoryCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of procurement initiativesLead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and termsDevelop and maintain supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement and innovationEnsure strict adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and compliance regulationsSuccessfully implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standardsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experienceProven experience in procurement/sourcing, specifically in the plastics categoryStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to analyze data and make data-driven decisionsProficiency in using procurement software and toolsDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesThis position is located in Houston, TX, USA.
