We're seeking a Shipping Foreman/Group Lead for our 3rd shift.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in our fast-paced environment, preparing items for shipment with the following responsibilities:
- Overseeing general shipping activities
- Leading the shipping staff
- Maintaining the shipping department
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Physically moving bread/bun stacks to the shipping dock
- Repetitive handling of products for depot locations
- Shuttle bread trays and materials to staging areas
- Unloading semi-trailers, inspecting incoming shipments, and managing discrepancies
- Loading cased bread/bun products onto pallets
- Operating electric pallet jacks and stretch wrap banders
- Managing computer functions for tracking goods
- Collaborating within a busy dispatch department
- Creating shipping labels and managing shipping information

- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
- Capable of running day-to-day operations
- Proficient in computer skills
Physical requirements:
- Constant standing and walking on concrete floors and trailer beds
- Frequent pushing/pulling of transport racks and bread trays
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, lifting, and carrying
- Handling and grasping of bakery product trays, transport racks, and boxes
- Frequently lifting and/or moving items up to 50 lbs
Additionally, reliable transportation and adherence to attendance standards for our 24/7 production facility are essential.
