This LA based biotech is keen to bring onboard a senior research associate/associate scientist to bolster our efforts. The candidate will be contributing efforts to research and early development for our preclinical projects, assessing drug candidates in in vivo
models.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of seasoned professionals to
generate data for efficacy, safety, and mechanism of action of our novel therapeutic modalities.

The position is available for immediate start.
Essential Job Duties:
Execute in vivo studies in animal models.
Handle and prepare tissue samples for biochemical and histological assays.
Rodent colony management.
Collaborate with team members to drive in vivo studies across animal models.
Participate in various lab duties, including equipment maintenance and document
generation, and assist in data analysis as necessary.
Adapt to the varying needs of the lab, showcasing flexibility and a willingness to assist in
different capacities as needed.
Data presentation to multidisciplinary discovery teams.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in a life science discipline. Master s or PhD degree in neuroscience or
animal biology.
2-5 years of experience working with rodent models or other mammalian models in an
industrial or academic setting, showcasing a proven track record of success and
innovation.
Knowledge of basic biology of CNS diseases.
Ability to process and handle tissue samples with precision and care.
Familiarity with standard lab equipment and biochemical/histological analysis methods.
Strong communication skills with an ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in neuroscience research is a plus.
Research or industry experience with animal handling (behavior experiment, perfusion)
and tissue processing (sectioning, imaging)
