Procurement Buyer (Hybrid)

Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Procurement Buyer to join their team.

**This job is hybrid in Conshohocken, PA**
**W2 Only**

Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure goods and services according to company policies and budgetary restrictions.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible value for the company.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and priorities.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and procurement regulations.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as preparing purchase orders, executing process for the execution of contracts, invoices, and maintaining purchasing records.
  • Assist in identifying reliable suppliers and vendors through research and networking.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new developments in procurement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, DocuSign, and procurement systems. (experience in Coupa is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.


Desired Skills:

  • Experience in procurement practices and processes.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in procurement.
