The Assistant Department Manager assists the Frozen & Dairy Department Manager with ensuring the successful operation of the department. This position is responsible for: assisting with breaking down the shipments/loads received at the store and moving inventory to the shelves checking product dates and rotating product to ensure freshness scanning out and managing shrink providing exceptional guest service to our guests by helping them find items they are looking for and greeting each guest with a friendly "hello" Additionally, this role will help provide training, leadership, and direction to part-time stock clerks and team members within the department.
