Job Description: Field Director of Operations


Through planning, direction and guidance given to the market Regional Manager and/or Area Manager, ensure PBT Customers have the best experience possible. Responsible for ensuring the goals created for recruiting, hiring, developing and maintaining the highest quality teams are met. Direct, coordinate and oversee Palm Beach Tan operations of multiple markets to ensure specific and direct alignment with company goals are met. Accountable for all aspects of PBT operations, including adherence to PBT quality standards, systems and procedures. Ensure creation of goal planning along with actionable plans to attain goals, are created together with the Regional Manager, Area Manager, and District Managers. Provide constant feedback of progress on plans and goals. Help in the creation of training materials and provide training to Regional Manager, Area Manager, and District Manager. Responsible for monitoring and controlling costs including labor, cost of sales, sales revenue and profitability through the Regional Manager, Area Managers, and District Managers.

Communicate, train and develop your Direct Reports to ensure the highest level of operational effectiveness according to PBT standards and ethics.

Assist your Direct Reports in development of Training Store Managers for the district.

Conduct regular one-on-ones with your Direct Reports to ensure goals are achieved timely.

Assist your Direct Reports in identifying and addressing staffing issues, including scheduling, promotions, staffing ratios and turnover.

Provide clear direction to your Direct Reports, including clarification of priorities.

Hold all employees accountable for maintaining metrics, standards and following procedures; take appropriate action when employees do not follow HR policy.

Provide specific strategic direction to your Direct Reports.

Conduct regular store visits with Direct Reports, ensure District monthly meetings, training classes and follow-up take place.

Protect integrity of systems including strict adherence to all operating and HR standards.

Communicate and implement labor strategies and minimize cost of operations while maximizing profitability.

Always ensure market is providing exceptional customer service.

Oversee with the help of Direct Reports and ensure cleanliness, DOH standards, PBT equipment functionality in the stores, including timely/effective communication regarding equipment repair needs and issues.

Continually evaluate competitors for possible acquisition candidates. This should be done by developing a relationship with the competitors in the markets of responsibility and staying in contact occasionally to gauge interest in exiting the industry.

Qualifications

Other job duties as assigned 10% to 20% Overnight Travel

Ability to interact easily with others while displaying emotional maturity

Must be able to drive between locations in own vehicle

Must have a valid drivers license

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance

Proven track record of consistent recruiting, hiring, staffing, training and development performance
