Job Details

Our client, a leader in legal publishing, is seeking an experienced Criminal Law Attorney to draft and review practical guidance and templates for an online legal product for attorneys. Attorneys must be licensed to practice in Texas.


Job Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise practical guidance templates on criminal law documents.
  • Review and update motions, affidavits, and other related criminal law documents.
  • Supplement existing documents with state-specific, how-to practical guidance based on state law, local custom, and legal practice experience.
  • Draft various forms related to criminal law. Sample base forms will be provided.


Details:

  • This is a fully remote, part-time position with flexible hours (5-15/wk.).
  • Compensation is $40 hr.


Qualifications:

  • Must be a member, in good standing, of the Texas State Bar.
  • 3+ years of experience as a practicing criminal law attorney.
  • Substantive experience drafting motions, affidavits, and other related criminal law documents.
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Word with track changes and conducting online research.
