Duties & Responsibilities:
Accurately check off and receive product from carriers into our system.
Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
Attach identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
Accurately pick and prepares shipping orders to meet shipping cutoff times and processes orders in accordance with all regulatory standards.
Picks parts and assemblies on jobs for delivery to assembly with all proper documentation and labeling.
Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
Perform routine cycle counts for inventory maintenance purposes.
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
Warehouse housekeeping - Shelf/Bin maintenance to maintain a clean inventory environment and maximize space.
Assist in the creation & publication of warehouse processes.
Assist in the improvement of the warehouse through implementation of Lean methodology.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Requirements:
Able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance; the majority of time is spent standing and walking.
Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
Strong understanding of documentation security, maintenance, and processing.
Able to operate powered industrial equipment.
- Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection.
