Our client, a well-established packaging manufacturer is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Superintendent to join their team. This key leadership role involves overseeing the entire production process to ensure efficient scheduling, adherence to safety standards, maintenance of product quality, and proper handling of both finished and unfinished goods. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of driving operational excellence and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Leadership: Lead and manage the production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Scheduling: Develop and oversee production schedules, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely completion of projects and optimal use of resources.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, addressing any potential hazards and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that all products meet the company's rigorous quality standards and customer specifications.
• Inventory Management: Ensure accurate tracking and management of both finished and unfinished goods, coordinating storage and movement to optimize production flow and minimize waste.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop the production team, providing training and support to build skills and promote a culture of accountability and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control processes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
