The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Survey Projects Researcher for our Chicago office.This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote).

Starting base salary = $66,000 - $82,500 (commensurate with related experience).

The Researcher, Survey Projects is responsible for designing, conducting and analyzing surveys to gather insights and feedback from various target audiences. Facilitates execution and fielding of surveys by phone, mail, online or other delivery. Collects data and survey results. Analyzes data and prepares reports; Performs other related duties as assigned. Survey methodology and data analysis is crucial in contributing to the business unit's survey research initiatives. Will need strong communication and critical-thinking skills to design, conduct and interpret surveys and determine methods that best capture the information needed.

  1. Design and develop surveys to collect data from target audiences, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of questions;
  2. Implement survey distribution strategies, including online surveys, phone surveys, and in-person interviews as required;
  3. Analyze survey data using statistical software and tools to identify trends, patterns and insights;
  4. Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations summarizing survey findings;
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop survey objectives and define target audience criteria;
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of survey processes, protocols, responses and data;
  7. Ensure data confidentiality and privacy standards are met during the survey administration and data analysis stages;
  8. Continuously monitor and evaluate survey methodologies to optimize data collection processes and improve data quality.
