Job Description

The purpose of this role is to support testing activities that are taking place at the BXBD site in Modesto and to maintain the Brambles Digital site there. The role of the Serialization Tech I is to conduct testing to replicate serialized pallet deliveries to/from the customers at the fulfilment center. The Serialization Tech I will operate different forklift types efficiently so that varied deployment scenarios can be replicated during tests. The ideal candidate should be able to operate computers, check Wifi connectivity, check on testing devices and be able to add/scan data using accessorial devices.

Material Handling & Forklift Operation:

  • Operate the forklift to efficiently move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant facility.
  • Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports load to designated area.
  • Conduct inspection of the forklift prior to operating, promptly reporting issues to maintenance team for resolution.

Loading and Unloading:

  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers with pallets or materials using the forklift, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
  • Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work area
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.

Tracking Equipment Maintenance & Operation:

  • Responsible for reporting and troubleshooting suspected failures and issues with relevant equipment and/or systems.
  • Monitor, report problems, and perform basic troubleshooting of network and system component connectivity.
  • Data entry and data capturing using computers and devices like CT60.
  • Maintain the equipment and stacks inventory.
  • Keep the test site organized.
  • Receive delivery packages.
