Manages the plant production schedule to ensure customer and plant level needs are met.

Responsibilities

Responsible for achieving the plant SIOP plan, maintaining desired customer service levels while managing inventory.
Perform detailed scheduling of molding and printing assets to replenish inventory.
Satisfy customer orders using Logility MP for capacity planning and JDE order sequencing.
Identify potential capacity bottlenecks and resolve with Master Production Planner and Plant Manager.
Maintain or adjust inventory levels as needed based on production schedule.
Manage order sequencing to balance production set-ups and productivity through run combinations and efficient planning.
Answer acknowledgements from Customer Service
Answer MRP / KPI messages.
Run and prepare reports as needed to support business decisions.
Attend and participate in production meetings.
Work closely with operations to drive out costs within the plant.
Building of outbound inter-company shipments in DSL.
Qualifications

BS degree or equivalent experience.
Prior scheduling and or operations background preferred.
Working knowledge of Logility or Advanced Planning Systems preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience managing people.
Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
