Job Details
Drives hospital vehicle to deliver and pick up items (e.g., blood and other specimens, lab results, U.S. Postal Service Mail, packages and interdepartmental mail, patient equipment, etc.) from various on- and off-site facilities. Documents and tracks pick-ups and deliveries to include quantity and timeliness. May perform clerical duties such as filing, report processing, typing, and answering the telephone in a polite and courteous manner if necessary. Receives and informs supervisor of day-to-day route issues. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Formal Education Required:a. Proven ability to read and write English, follow written and oral instruction, read and follow a map and perform basic mathematical functions .. Experience & Training Required:a. Must be 21 years of age or over at time of hire.b. Must have valid Ohio Drivers License and meet Summa Fleet Insurance Standards.c.
