Duties included but not limited to:

  • Oversee all accounting activates ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures
  • Lead in the monthly accounting close process to include the development of retail operations
  • Proactively seek, understand, and interpret the accounting implications of complex business transactions while maintaining ongoing communications with the Exec Team
  • Responsible for budgets and forecasts, accounts payable and receivable, employee expense reimbursements, and other accounting functions for company
  • Support annual budgeting and planning process for the organization; manage banking, tax, audit, and insurance relationships
  • Oversee regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance
  • Support the cash management process; movement of cash between accounts, wires to overseas, and reconciliations
  • Provide upper management with information vital to the decision-making process


Must have requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of accounting and finance experience
  • Bachelors and/or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field is strongly preferred, not required
  • Background in the manufacturing, beauty, retail, consumer goods or related industry is required
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Shopify
  • Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with other departments, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with incredible attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Must be based in the Los Angeles area and able to work onsite 3x a week.
