Assistant Press Operator
Allentown, PA
$18 to $20 per hour
Monday - Friday
8:00am - 4:30pm
Industry leader in the manufacturing and distribution of fabricated material handling equipment is looking for a motivated assistant machine operator to work in a fast-paced distribution and manufacturing facility.
Duties of an Assistant Press Operator:
- Excellent on-time attendance
- Gather materials according to orders
- Assist Operator with tooling changes and set-up
- Mark materials as directed
- Organizes, cleans and maintains tool storage
- Deburr
- Maintain paperwork as needed
- Some Mandatory Overtime
Qualifications for an Assistant Press Operator - 6+ months metal experience
- Experience with measuring devices: tape measures and gauges
- Read, write, speak and understand directions in English
- Able to wear required PPE
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend and lift to perform job
- Ability to work as a team and follow directions
