Position Summary
The Youth Services Worker I/II provides direct care and support services to children and adolescents in Anthony's Villa Group Home. They assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, maintain a therapeutic environment, and provide supervision and guidance to clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide direct care to clients, including but not limited to: supervising daily activities, ensuring safety and security, and assisting with personal hygiene and self-care tasks.
- Participate in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients, including documenting progress, and communicating with treatment team members.
- Maintain a therapeutic environment in the Group Home by utilizing positive behavior management techniques, providing consistent and clear expectations, and promoting a sense of community among clients.
- Provide transportation for clients to appointments and activities as needed.
- Participate in and lead therapeutic groups and recreational activities for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Program Director.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Ability to maintain a therapeutic environment and manage challenging behaviors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR/First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday 8pm-8am
24 hours per week
Compensation details: 15-19 Yearly Salary
