We are seeking a
Registered Nurse
who will provide nursing and administrative support to a range of practices across the country. Candidates should have strong computer skills and excellent phone skills to work with providers, patients, and administrators. This is a Part-time, Monday - Friday afternoon shift being offered remotely. The pay range is a $25-30 hourly rate.
Essential functions include:Receive inbound calls from patients and place outbound calls to patients.Provide clinical assessment based on established protocols and triage patients by phone or through patient portal.Respond to patients messages in patient portal, create orders and route to appropriate parties.Provide administrative support for patients and providers needs in terms of FMLA, ADA, and LTD/STDCommunicate with Health Care Provider through approved methods as needed.Qualifications:Registered NurseCurrent demonstration of clinical proficiencyExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work within approved procedure and clinical guidelinesElectronic Medical Record Experience, i.e EPIC, Cerner, GreenwayAbility to use windows-based computer software including ADOBE, MS Word, MS Excel, Fax and othersMinimum RequirementsRegistered Nurse with Unencumbered e-NCL Licensure.
California licensure is required.Minimum of 5 years experience in working in a variety of direct patient care settings including Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Critical Care. Women's Health or Labor and Delivery experience preferred.Minimum of 3 years' of bedside experienceAble to work remotely at home in a private HIPAA compliant workspaceAble to house company equipment needed to perform jobBroadband Internet AccessImmigration or work visa sponsorship will not be providedPhysical Demands:Ability to hear in normal range and wear a headset / earpieceGood visual acuity to read computer screens, scripts, forms etc.May sit 100% of the time when taking callsInternet download speed must be at least 24 mbps and upload speed at least 4 mbpsImmigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided
