Administrative Assistant, Part-Time


Job Details

Ivy Tech Muncie is looking for a tech-savvy Administrative Assistant with strong organizational and communication skills to join our team in a part-time role.

This position will provide administrative assistance and support to Human Resources, Academic Advising, Workforce and other members of campus leadership as needed.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in scheduling of professional development sessions for campus employees, including securing rooms, setting up Zooms and communicating with facilitators, entering attendance into Workday Learning modules.
  • Assist in building professional development sessions within Workday Learning.
  • Assist in the clerical duties related to assigning students to primary advisors
  • Provide clerical support to various departments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent, associate's degree preferred.
  • Must be comfortable with computers, technology and learning new systems.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Proven experience, punctuality, dependability and trustworthiness.
