Essential Responsibilities: Conducting research to understand company objectives, target markets, and industry trends to develop innovative and trending product designs. Conceptualizing and designing marketable, trend-right artwork for balloon images, gift and home d cor products. Making modifications to existing artwork as suggested through peer and management critique; creating mechanicals. Potential for domestic and international travel. Specific skills: Must be well-versed with working with a variety of mediums: gouache, watercolor, acrylic, digital, etc.; calligraphy and hand lettering ability. Possess broad knowledge and understanding of graphic/fine art standards; ability to create innovative, forward-thinking designs to attract customers. Highly developed skills in both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator on a MAC platform; proficiency with digital design software. Has a strong sense and understanding of color theory, design principles, and typography. Can produce precise, accurate and vendor-ready art boards in a timely and efficient manner.
