Maintenance Mechanic, Huron OH
Starting pay: $25.30 - $35.72 per hour based on experience, plus a $1.00 shift differential.
Shift: Evening (2nd) 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Primary Responsibilities
- Repair and perform preventative maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, mechanical seals, and pumps.
- Troubleshoot and proof test equipment as necessary to solve problems and proactively prevent them.
- Install, test, and maintain control devices, pressure-sensing units, and flow measuring devices.
- Work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Work independently under limited supervision (self-management).
- Perform documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed.
- Basic welding and fabrication.
- Perform general housekeeping.
Qualifications - Ability to read, interpret and understand technical documents and drawings of plant equipment.
- Ability to perform confined space entry and work at heights.
- The position requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
- The position may require weekend work.
