We are currently looking for a Shuttle Driver to help us grow our company by providing excellent service to our customers. The right candidate will be hard-working, friendly, customer-oriented, and must have strong communication skills to help push our business forward.

Position Overview

This position is primarily responsible for providing prompt, safe and courteous transportation of customers between the parking facility and the airport. Shuttle Drivers are also responsible for assisting customers with their luggage while providing the highest level of customer service (the Fine Experience) by creating a safe, seamless, and prompt parking experience with Fine Airport Parking.

**Salary: $14.77 plus tips**

Essential Job Functions

Follows established procedures, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, designated routes, accurate record keeping, and regular, effective radio communication with facility.

Promptly and professionally greets every customer.

Smile and makes eye contact, verbally greeting guests and coworkers from arrival on the property through departure.

Provide memorable, personal & professional experience to all guests (The Fine Experience).

Maintain a clean, pleasant, and calm environment inside the shuttle (including but not limited to: windows rolled up, approved audio/video playing, interior lights on, no air freshener spraying, no items on the dashboard and no food on the shuttle.)

Carry customer luggage from the shuttle to the curb at the airport and from the shuttle to the customer vehicle at the parking lot.

Maintain accurate familiarity of airport terminals and general area in an effort to answer questions and provide helpful information to our customers.

Maintain effective communication with management, dispatchers, and other employees to ensure the highest level of operational performance.

Provide customers with a vehicle location card and educate all customers as to where the shuttle pick up zones are located.

Report accidents, problems, and other required shuttle bus information (both mechanical and cosmetic) to management.

Keep shuttle bus secure and follow all safety procedures.

Always be alert and observant of any activity on the facility, both authorized and unauthorized, and take appropriate action.

Anticipate needs for guests by opening vehicle and building doors.

Assist guests in stepping out of vehicle.

Help guests with parcels/luggage.

Assist guests with wheelchairs and other assistance as needed.

Provide information about Fine Airport Parking and amenities.

Provide general travel directions as needed.

Follow all departmental procedures and policies to ensure efficient, safe, and secure operation.

Ensure all guest issues are handled quickly to ensure guests satisfaction within the established guidelines.

Set high personal performance standards and encourage others to do the same.

Cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service to both internal and external guests. Assist other valet and parking related positions and activities including cashiering, directing traffic, and more.

Performs other duties as assigned during downtimes.

**Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)**

Current drivers license.

Impeccable driving record.

Must project professionalism and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must project professional appearance, neatly groomed.

Must be able to respond calmly and rationally when handling conflict.

Must be flexible with work shifts/hours, including overtime, servicing late flights, peak volume, vacated shifts, and other emergency situations.

**Educational and Experience Requirements**

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must be 23 years of age (for insurance purposes).

Prior experience working with the general public in any setting. Directly related experience as shuttle driver, valet attendant or in customer service role preferred.

**Work Environment/Physical Demands**

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.

Able to work long hours in all elements of the weather (wind, cold, heat, snow, rain, etc.).

Must be able to jog periodically, walk or stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to maneuver through the property quickly and efficiently utilizing stairs, elevator or walking long distances.
