As a supply chain professional within the Space Systems Windsor Locks procurement group, you will be responsible for procuring critical major subcontract/engineered items. This includes ensuring timely placement of compliant Purchase Orders and overseeing all phases of the procurement process, from source selection and negotiations to post-award administration.
What You Will Do:
- Procure major subcontract/engineered items, such as supplier-designed valves, motors, and sensors, while adhering to compliance standards.
- Manage an assigned supplier portfolio, negotiate terms and conditions of purchase orders, and coordinate the resolution of supplier issues.
- Review and understand supplier-generated program schedules to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and other deliverables.
- Complete ad hoc reports and attend critical meetings to support management.
- The selected candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage supplier relationships. Limited domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications You Must Have:- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Microsoft Office Experience
Qualifications We Prefer: - The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of direct procurement in a variety of major subcontract/engineered items (i.e., supplier-designed valves, motors, sensors, etc...) in support of U.S. Government contracts and/or within the aerospace industry.
- A general knowledge of FAR, DFAR, NFS and Export Control (ITAR & EAR) requirements is preferred.
- The ability to read and understand blueprints and other technical data is highly desirable.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Aerospace Industry experience preferred
- SAP experience would be desirable.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
