**Job Overview:** As the Transportation Lead, you are the subject matter expert for transportation clerks In this role, you will train new transportation clerks, review new transportation clerks work during training. You will be responsible for processing orders for specific customers, (usually highly prioritized customers.) As a part of the Operations team, you will approves full truck loads and negotiate the rates with carriers/brokers. Additionally, you will trouble shoot issues and determine best course of action to resolve. As the Lead, you will maintain spreadsheets of inbound, outbound, intercompany transfers and creates new processes to streamline and capture all order details and specific shipping requirements. You will also communicate any shipping concerns around pricing, late shipments & transfers. **Minimum Qualifications**
+ 2-5 years working in a similar role in transportation
+ Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
**Education Requirements**
+ Bachelors Degree in Business Management, preferred, or equivalent experience in transportation
