**Job Summary**

Uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to assist in the acquisition of existing multi-family real estate that meets the funds investment guidelines. Assist Team Leader with executing a business development strategy to build relationships with strategic partners and clients within a multi-state region. Assist with the management of a number of broker and owner relationships, including negotiating definitive documents. Responsible for sourcing transactions annually, with the direction of the Team Leader. Work with market participants and under the direction of the Team Leader to engage new business, maintain the existent client base and expand the business.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Assist in interviews and/or visits market participants to present the Preservation Fund program and collet information.

Evaluate and rate assets based off of criteria such as, curb appeal, condition, and site location.

Assists Team Leader with development and implementation of business development plan for client relationship building purposes.

May work with sophisticated deal structures and owners.

Manages database of owners.

Assist in team efforts to analyze information to determine if projects meet company investment requirements.

Responsible for setting up discussions/meetings to generate business leads.

Performs quality control and assist in meeting the teams overall objectives.

Maintains contact, and independently manage some relationships with strategic partners and owner-clients to ensure quality service.

Assists with sourcing a large number of transactions annually with direction from the Team Leader.

Assists staff in resolving business problems.

Works closely with Team Lead to secure new business, maintain the existing client base and expand the business.

Works directly with team lead to create outreach plans consistent with RJAHIs acquisition efforts.

Work with Marketing as necessary to promote opportunities.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Fundamental concepts, principles and practices of LIHTC.

Fundamental concepts, principles and practices of the real estate industry.

Yields, market pricing and profitability and their relationships with one another.

Principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations.

**Skill in**

Reading and understanding financial statements and legal documents.

Follow-up to ensure accuracy and completion of tasks.

Operating standard office equipment and using required software application to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets.

**Ability to**

Communicate effectively both oral and written.

Identify issues and solve problems with minimal involvement from counsel, feasibility team and producer.

**Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

Education/Previous Experience**

Bachelors Degree (B.A.) in accounting, business or related field and a minimum of three (3) years of sales and/or real estate experience. OR ~

Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.

**Licenses/Certifications**

None required.
