* Welcome all arriving guests; assists guests with front door and in unloading baggage from vehicles.
* Inspect all public areas to ensure cleanliness standards have been met.
* Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and soiled linens.
* Deliver linens and necessary supplies to room attendants.
* Collect trash throughout the hotel including; room attendants carts, vending areas, offices and restrooms.
* Respond to guest requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g. linens, cots, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.
* Shampoo carpet, strip and wax floors through the hotel.
* Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
* Wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.
* Be able to lift and carry 50lbs; push and pull 60 lbs.
* Other duties as assigned, of when the employee is capable of performing.
**Position Summary:**
Welcome and assist all guests at the hotel. Provide courteous and prompt service to guests. Assist housekeepers on assigned floors ensuring that all hotel cleanliness standards are met.

* Ability to speak, read, write the English language
* Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
* High school or equivalent education required.
* Bilingual or multilingual ability preferred.
