JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience: Six months experience in warehouse or supply distribution related fields. Healthcare experience preferred.

Required Licenses / Certifications: Must possess and maintain a current, valid Idaho driver's license along with a clean driving record.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Duties require good language, math and reasoning skills. Computer skills preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintains, inventories and restocks par-levels in assigned departments at Bingham Memorial Hospital and outlying clinics. Checks storeroom issues logs for items taken during closed hours, issue items appropriately, Per Paragon procedures. Assists with opening and sorting incoming statements, payments etc. in preparation for the courier to deliver to accounting. Reviews purchasing forecast reports for appropriateness and works with purchasing to ensure that proper storeroom inventory levels are maintained. Counts par levels, enters counts into requisitions and issue/transfer items per Paragon procedures (refer to the Paragon user s manual for additional information). Print pull list, pull items and restock par levels. Performs any routine par level maintenance/adjustments as necessary; coordinate with your supervisor and the appropriate department manager. Checks requisitions for consumable orders and process accordingly per Paragon procedures. (Refer to the Paragon user s manual for additional information). Performs all other distribution functions as necessary, walk up issues, returns etc. per departmental and Paragon procedures. (Refer to the Paragon user s manual for additional information). If inventory discrepancies are discovered during the above processes. Documents the discrepancies, i.e., on hand quantities, etc. and works with supervisor to rectify immediately. Places patient charge labels on all incoming patient chargeable items and restock shelves accordingly with incoming stock along with stock from the bulk storeroom, so that the storerooms are ready to go for the next shift. Organizes storerooms; remove all empty boxes, packaging, etc. (keep all areas clean and organized (everything in its appropriate place). Also, Organizes and removes all clutter from your desk/office work area. Monitors assigned area in the storeroom for outdates, damaged items etc. Performs cycle counts in specific areas per the cycle count schedule.
