Responsibilities:
- Work with the CEO to execute all strategic goals and initiatives.
- Monitor existing platforms for grant and funding opportunities that align with the mission, strategic plan, and financial needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with internal leaders and external state, local, and community leaders to develop opportunities to expand services and funding for the agency's mission and strategic plan.
- Monitor grant and program performance against stated goals, communicate progress, and develop plans to remediate issues where they exist.
- Ensure that grant renewals, licenses, accreditations, and contracts are completed promptly and effectively.
- Maintain active and broad external engagement to ensure awareness of local community needs and opportunities and ensure the agency is prepared and positioned to meet those needs.
- Provide operational support and high-level oversight of grant operations as assigned by CEO.
- Plan and monitor the development of innovative and scalable cross-department programs that support agency employees.
- Work with outcome systems and agency databases to track and report agency data.

Requirements:
A Masters Degree in non-profit management, social services, counseling, program development, HR, or a closely related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing and/or operation, budgeting, and social services is also required. 5 years of experience managing grants and programs can be substituted for a Masters Degree. The VP of Mission and Employment Services possesses leadership abilities, communication and listening skills, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to read for details and understand financials.
