We are seeking qualified candidates for Forklift Operator for our Receiving Department - FIRST SHIFT (MONDAY TO FRIDAY / 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) at our Byhalia, Mississippi Distribution Center. The starting pay is $21.22 with an increase after 90 days. Responsibilities of the position include: The Forklift Operator is responsible for picking and loading freight securely and correctly. In this role you will ensure that work is done in a safe and timely manner. Drive a cherry picker, reach and sit-down forklift equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, stack or move products. Check assigned slip-sheet forklift at beginning of shift to ensure unit is functional. Obtain proper documents from supervisor or lead person indicating priority of work assignments. Review reports/orders/customer instructions to ensure proper handling of product. Monitor assigned areas of the warehouse for damaged product/pallets. Ensure production standards are maintained.
