**Description**
**JOB SUMMARY:**
A seasonal team member position with the responsibility of assisting our costume characters throughout the park and also interact with Park Guests in a professional manner.
**ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:**
* Ensure that guests abide by all policies and procedures while interacting with the costumed characters.
* Act as an escort to costumed characters, controlling crowds and interacting with guests in a supporting role.
* Promote the park with the utmost enthusiasm and pride.
* Maintain a clean working environment both in guest view and behind the scenes.
* Resolve guest concerns that may arise on a daily basis.
* Respond to any emergency situation in the area and maintain control until an area supervisor arrives.
* Ensure the safety of characters and guests.
* Other duties as assigned.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Be at least 16 years of age.
* Communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
* Be available to work flexible hours in the early morning, at nights, and on weekends.
**ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
* React well in stressful and emergency situations.
* Possess above-average communication skills.
* Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Be safety conscious, while also outgoing with a friendly demeanor.
* Be willing to actively engage guests.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**
* Continued standing, kneeling, and bending.
* Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech. Manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition.
* Stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day; walk over 3 miles per day over various surfaces.
