Overview:
Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC is a leading consulting firm in the aviation & Aerospace Industry, specializing in optimizing manufacturing processes. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and operations to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs and improve productivity
  • Conduct process simulations, time studies, and capacity analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Design, develop, and improve manufacturing methods, tools, and equipment
  • Use statistical analysis and process control techniques to monitor and validate manufacturing process performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all manufacturing processes
  • Train and mentor production operators on new tools, equipment, and processes
  • Participate in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize the supply chain and improve quality and delivery performance


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering within the Aviation & Aerospace industry
  • Proficiency in process simulation software such as Arena, Matlab, or SIMUL8
  • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and tools
  • knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001)
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and process control techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with project management and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
  • Proven track record of driving process optimization and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed

Pay: $85,000.00 - $113,000.00 per year
