Position title Block Boom - Tractor Trailer Driver Description To operate boom truck and tractor trailer to provide products and delivery services to customers at job sites in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities
* Load and operate boom, truck and trailer safely
* Perform daily truck inspection and report needed repairs
* Verify cargo against shipping papers
* Locate and determine efficient and safe route to delivery locations. Driver may be delivering to
remote or undeveloped jobsites which have difficult or tricky access.
* Load trucks and/or customers at yard
* Operate forklift
* Restock inventory
* Maintain positive attitude and interpersonal communication while helping customers.
* Daily cleanup of yard.
* Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
* Must have current **Class A Doubles CDL** and current medical card
* Must be able to obtain **Boom Truck Certification**
* Must have an acceptable driving record and provide a copy no older than 30 days
* Must have minimum of two years experience driving commercial vehicle
* Must be able to pass security background check to obtain an unescorted JBER gate pass
* Must be physically able to lift 94lbs and pass a Fit for Duty test
* Concrete properties and construction knowledge desirable
* Must be or become a member of Teamsters Local 959.
Job Benefits
* Pay: $34/hour plus Medical and Retirement Benefits per Teamster Local 959 Contract
