Job OverviewThe Lead Inventory Clerk is responsible for all Warehouse Inventory Control Processes and accuracy of records management per Company Policies such as leading and assisting with the Physical Count Process and Inventory Reconciliation; conducting and assisting with investigating and if necessary, correcting all discovered discrepancies; ensuring all Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly, and Daily Requirements are achieved and communicate important viable information regarding the condition, trends, or processes impacting the ability to maintain adequate control of the Inventory with Warehouse Management and Operations. This role will provide feedback on performance, the direction of work to the assigned team, guidance, and support to the specific area of responsibility and, or team as designated by the Warehouse Manager, as well as assist in interviewing potential candidates.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead, assist, and direct activities with the physical counts to ensure accurate inventory levelsAssist in the research of discovered inventory discrepancies and ensure resolution if possibleEnsure all required inventory documentation and processes are completed, reviewed, and filed appropriatelyAnalyze Inventory information to determine trends and processes, which are impacting the control of the Inventory, and communicate findings to Warehouse Management and OperationsTrain and lead Inventory Personnel and evaluate processes striving for continuous improvementsCommunicate identified process improvements with warehouse management, operations, product supply planners, production facilities, and other departmentsPerform other duties assigned by Warehouse Management including, but not limited to, pallet building when and if requiredSupport, lead and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlinesEngage and develop teammates through effective on-the-job coaching and trainingImplement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, and embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadershipInfluence and advise management on performance management mattersMay perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Extensive Knowledge of all Warehouse Processes and a high degree of proficiency in all Warehouse Systems (SAP)Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with a continuous improvement mindsetStrong PC Skills including Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint and the ability to prioritize tasks and assignments while promoting a team environmentAbility to multi-task, organize, and delegate tasks to othersAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting 30-75 lbs.Ability to collaborate within a team environmentAbility to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processesAbility to adapt to needs of role in different work areas throughout the workday and meet minimum expectations of those different work areasAbility to read and interpret instructions from a computer screenAttention to detail and ability to differentiate our packagesAbility to work in a noisy and non-climate controlled (Hot in summer, cold in winter) environmentIntentional self-starter who takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-add opportunitiesFlexibility in Scheduling as Hours are subject to change with the demands of the business

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GEDKnowledge acquired through 3 - 5 years of work experiencePIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification including Pallet Jack and Forklift
