**Job Description**

The Zalk Josephs team has built their reputation on proven performance and meeting their customer's stringent demands and deadlines.
The Zalk Josephs team is offering a challenging and exciting career opportunity as a Part-Time Driver. We are seeking qualified candidates that are focused on quality and safety.
**Primary Responsibilities**
* Operates vehicle in accordance with Zalk Josephs Safety Rules, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.
* Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).
* Deliver structural steel and miscellaneous items to different job sites.
* Maintain good communication with staff regarding schedule and condition of vehicle.
* Remain flexible for unscheduled loads throughout the week (8-40 hours per week).
* Fuel vehicle as needed and provide gas receipts to the Manager or appropriate staff for processing.
* Present self in a professional, courteous, and businesslike manner to customers.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
**Minimum Qualifications**
* Hold a valid FED MED card.
* Experience: 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to follow standard operating procedures and perform basic mathematical calculations is required.
* Must successfully complete an online defensive driving course.
