The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for fall 2024 semester. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach marketing courses.

The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teach face-to-face and/or online courses, attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, academic advising of students, supporting student organizations, participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.

Primary Function of Organizational Unit

The Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management (MSCM) offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing, Marketing with a Sales Concentration and Supply Chain Management.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must have a Master's degree in Marketing, MBA with concentration in Marketing or similar field, or relevant post-baccalaureate degree. For candidates demonstrating comparable independent educational or instructional activities related to teaching. In addition, the position minimums should satisfy any accreditation requirements in the specified area of instruction.

A PhD in Marketing, Management or Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration or similar is preferred.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

The preferred candidates will have expertise in the various aspects of teaching marketing courses at the undergraduate level, and academic and/or professional experience, and qualifications appropriate for an appointment to the faculty at the applicable level.
