- Skilled in object-oriented design (OOD), Visual Studio, and SQL
- Experience in agile methodology

- Skilled in Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing their own test cases/testing each others code
Day to Day:
Insight Global is hiring a Software Engineer to support our client onsite in Omaha, NE. This person will join a team working on a new development initiative designed to turn a manual asset tracking process into practical and useful software. The right candidate must have strong ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, and ReactJS software development experience. This software will be developed to be compatible with Azure cloud so experience with Function Apps, Service Bus, and API Management is great. This person will work in an agile environment on 2-week sprints, and this role will be 60% backend and 40% development. They are expected to collaborate with the team deliver their tasks each sprint, as well as write their own test cases as this team practices test driven development. This person will join a team of 4 developers.
This role requires working onsite Monday through Thursday and has the option to have Fridays remote. It is expected that this person joins the team with a high level of professionalism and reliability to work onsite.
This role can pay between $40-60/hr depending on level of experience.
