Job Title: Manual Tester
Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for designing test cases, executing tests, documenting bugs, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and document test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Execute manual tests, including but not limited to experimental testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), usability testing, and ad hoc testing.
- Utilize bug tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Zephyr to report and manage issues discovered during testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate test results and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization activities to optimize testing efforts.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve product usability and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in test case design and documentation.
- Deep expertise in interactive testing methodologies, including experimental testing, UAT, usability testing, and ad hoc testing.
- Proficiency in bug tracking and documentation tools, particularly Jira and Zephyr.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meticulously identify, document, and track software defects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality software products on schedule.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Java programming language.
- Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
