Responsibilities Job Function Supports production activities by receiving, locating, storing, and transporting materials RESPONSIBILITIES Supplies production lines with materials as required; returns unused materials to appropriate locations Palletizes and stages finished product in designated areas Maintains organization of production set up areas, including disposal of trash and unusable materials Inspects equipment daily to ensure safe and efficient operation (i.e. forklift trucks) Collaborates with warehouse team to ensure proper placement of materials and finished product Monitors production scrap levels; identifies and assembles scrap storage units Maintains organization of materials throughout facility Loads and unloads shipments as needed Informs appropriate parties of maintenance needs to minimize downtime Utilize computer systems to perform inventory transactions (i.e., scanning labels) Maintains safe and clean work environment Observes all Plant procedures, rules, and guidelines Other duties as assigned Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required Company forklift certification required Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds repetitively Able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, and/or kneel continuously Availability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays as scheduled Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Good verbal and writing skills Good general math skills Must Maintain forklift certification through Berry Global Ability to work collaboratively with others PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES Must be able to stand for continuously for 12 hours Lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly throughout during shift Twist / Turn repeatedly throughout during shift Bending/ Stooping / Kneel repeatedly throughout during shift Pushing/ Pulling/ Reaching repeatedly during shift Carrying 45+ lbs. repeatedly during shift Must be able to wear all required Personal protective equipment (PPE) continuously during shift. WORK SCHEDULE Days Starts at 6:50 a.m., Ends at 7 p.m. 2 day on / 2 day off rotational schedule Every other weekend Nights Starts at 6:50 p.m. Ends at 7 a.m. 2 day on / 2 day off rotational schedule Every other weekend PLEASE NOTE: This description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
