**Description**

Semi-skilled job involving the assembly of small components/packets in our Shipping area. Requires forklift training and certification, basic math, reading and writing skills. Physical requirements include the ability to bend, twist, stoop and reach, and lift materials up to 50 pounds.

Kapco Inc. is looking for an Assembler on 1st shift at our Grafton, WI facility. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:

* Prepares work to be accomplished by specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, tools, and materials

* Positions parts and assemblies by using templates or reading measurements

* Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies

* Down piles parts from bulk packaging to individual small packs

* Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

* Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results

* Contributes to team effort by helping where needed

* Successfully completes forklift certification program.

* Keeps all materials and products neat and organized. Assists with timely delivery of products and containers, as needed

* Other duties as assigned
