We are tightening down on staff and seeking to increase productivity. That is what has created this REAL GROOMERS OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for an experienced groomer (at least 2 years) who wants to work One, two or more days for us! Maybe Sunday and ? Fill hours you've got without impacting schedules! More money for the Holidays!! That's it. We are a complete pet service facility (grooming, training, lodging, etc.) and are re-aligning our service offerings to fit the 'new world'. We're all learning together but we need a flexible good groomer to fulfill our needs.
We are booking reservations now and need help.
We are a commission-based facility; 40-55% depending upon your experience, availability, commitment and flexibility. We can also talk about hourly rates if you will be here and don't commission out. We are open 7 days a week, (including Saturday and Sunday as of 9 am) closing at 7 PM. We need true flexibility/availability during these hours.
We bring the public, the facility, etc.
You bring your tools and:
- Skilled 'artist' eye from grooming; cuts, blow-outs, styles.
- Understanding of 'mixed breeds' vs 'pure breeds, Ability to ENSURE this when grooming.
- Gentle 'reinforcement-based' dog handling skills
- Knowledge of AKC breeds and proper breed-cut across sizes, ages & breed
- The ability to communicate VERY WELL both over text, telephone and in-person
We do have electric grooming tables and raised baths, but you still must be able to lift 50 lbs for those 'stubborn' dogs!
Our front desk deals with the 2-legged YOU deal with the 4-legged. COMMUNICATIONS IS CRITICAL!
