The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Support Service Worker for the Ludeman Developmental Center located in Park Forest, Illinois to perform routine housekeeping functions, maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary environment of assigned areas and on an assigned shift. Operates a variety of cleaning machines and equipment. Reports supply shortages and equipment repairs to the supervisor. Job Responsibilities Performs routine housekeeping functions. Performs manual tasks such as dusting, polishing, and cleaning furniture woodwork, vents, fixtures and equipment, washing windows, cleaning window-sills inside and outside. Operates equipment and materials in daily function. Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment to ensure that sanitation standards are met. Performs routine repetitive unskilled manual tasks associated with Dietary, Support Services and Laundry on an assigned area and an assigned shift.
