Bookkeeper

Our healthcare client has an immediate need for a Bookkeeper.

Duties:

    • Process invoices, expense reports, and check requests.
    • Verify accuracy of billing statements and resolve discrepancies.
    • Maintain vendor files and ensure timely payments.
    • Prepare and send invoices to clients.
    • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
    • Reconcile accounts and manage collections.
    • Prepare and enter journal entries into the accounting system.
    • Ensure all entries are accurate and supported by appropriate documentation.
    • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
    • Assist in the preparation of profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
    • Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
    • Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
    • Perform regular reconciliations of bank and credit card statements.
    • Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded.
    • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Proficient in AP, AR, journal entries, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
